Greetings from snowy Minnesota! I think most of the country has seen some form of snow or unusual weather this past week. What’s your weather been like? It seems like every year we have some new version of crazy weather.
This was the view from my front door this morning.
I live in the Twin Cities and these are some of my favorite places to visit… in nicer weather. Although the Falls are pretty spectacular when they’re frozen.

We celebrated the Thanksgiving Holiday in the US this past week. My son and his wife hosted our family and hers for the first time. It’s been over 30 years since we haven’t had turkey duty!
I like to try to spend some time sewing during the holidays, more on fun stuff than work stuff. This weekend I was able to finish a wallhanging just for me!
If you aren’t familiar with Laura Heine’s patterns, check them out at fiberworks-heine.com. Deadlines still loom for me, and surprisingly, I’m ahead of schedule getting class samples finished. I’ll be teaching three classes at the Minnesota Quilt Show in June 2020.
What’s on your cutting table this weekend?
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Mark!
Thanks Bev, and to you and Jim!
My brother lives in Saint Paul and I am in Arizona where we’ve had several rainstorms in the past week. Strangely, grey skies seem more Christmas-y than sunshine! I am tempted by Bonnie Hunter’s Frolic mystery quilt along, but I have plenty of my own projects to work on.
I saw that Bonnie had started a new mystery. She does amazing work!
