My go-to block is the Rail Fence — lots of versatility and goes together quickly when I need to make a quilt on short notice.
I like to make Flying Geese. The results are immediate.
I am partial to star blocks of any kind. But lately I have been going crazy with pinwheels!

The friendship star is my favorite block. So simple yet it speaks volumes! I recently finished a friendship star quilt in blue & yellow for MY bed!
I love stars. All kinds of stars. I like pointy things and all the design possibilities when combining them with other stars or simple shapes.

I’m partial to sweet little Churn Dash blocks. I love it’s simplicity and versatility.
My favorite block is a Dresden Plate. You can use so many different colors together or just use two.
I like so many different blocks! Drunkard’s Path is always a fun one to work with and it can be changed to create many different designs, both traditional and modern.
I love star blocks – especially the tricky type that need to be paper pieced.
I love them all!! I’m so traditional though I seem to be partial to the log cabin.

I am drawn to just about any block that has a star design to it. I am finishing a Tumbling Block as my first hand-pieced and hand-quilted project. As a newbie, I should have chosen something ‘straighter’ if you know what I mean!

My favorite quilt block is any with a star in it. I really like your moon star block.
I like the versatility of the flying geese block. But once in a while hand piecing is what I crave.
I like log cabin. It always looks great!
My favorite block is Tumbling Block, inspired by the quilt I own, made by my grandmother in 1930s or 1940s. I’ve never attempted one myself, but hope to someday.
My favourite block is the log cabin, it was one of the first I discovered when I started quilting.
My favorite block is Jacob’s Ladder. I love how versatile it is.

I really don’t think I have a favorite block although I do seem to like all star blocks.
My favorite quilt block of all is the Ohio Star. It’s easy to make and I like all kinds of star blocks.
Basket blocks are my favorite. They are so versatile and look great made up into a sampler quilt.
I’m a newer quilter, so I have to say I’ve enjoyed the churn dash block. Enjoy the different looks you get depending on which fabric/color placement.

Well your Moon Star block really has a lot of possibilities – even scrappy, which I just love! If I was pressed to pick just one block as a favorite I think I’d have to go with log cabin…so basic and the design possibilities abound. Ohio Star, well, really I never saw a star block I didn’t like! Oh, and Mariner’s Compass blocks. Your block is quite unique, like it lots!

It’s very simple, but I just made a floating 4-patch quilt and it looked super. So, I am currently loving the patch blocks, 4, 9, 12, etc. Very traditional, that’s me. I love Moon Star.

This would be a fun block to play around with–colors, positioning, sashing or not, etc. My favorite block as of now would be Dresden Plate–piecing and applique.

Pretty block, and table runner. My favorite block is either Irish Chain or 8point Star.
I think the pinwheel is one of favorite blocks. You can just about put it anywhere in a quilt to create movement

Love your Moon Star block! Star blocks, especially Hunter’s Star, are my favorites because there are so many different types.
My favorite block is the churn dash because it can be made to look so different by different arrangements of the colors. You can also stretch it to make it rectangular or put other blocks or fussy cuts in the center.
I love them all! Stars, logs, pinwheels, applique!!
Log cabins are wonderful because there are so many different variations in the block itself and in the possible layouts.
Log Cabins have been my favorite but lately Irish Chains have been stealing the thunder 🙂 Well, and then I love the Ohio Star block too. so many to choose from 🙂

I love most all of the traditional quilt blocks but I would have to say that the logcabin block is probably my favorite even though I’ve never made a fullsized log cabin quilt. There are just so many variations of it!

I love Dresden Plate quilts. My grandmother gave me one that she made when I was very young and I loved it so much that it fell apart. I am in the process of replicating it now. Thanks for the opportunity.

I think I would have to say my favorite block is 54-40 or Fight. I made a graduation quilt for my son with that pattern, so it’s been a favorite ever since.
