Welcome to Day 2 of the Holiday Prep Blog Hop!
Today is my day ~ I’m Celine Perkins from Perkins Dry Goods, thank you for stopping by!
Mug rugs make quick and easy gifts. Everyone loves them, right?
I made these mug rugs last Christmas for the residents in my mom’s Assisted Living unit. I wanted to do something special for them since they were still in covid lockdown. So, I made mug rugs! They were a hit and they were fun to make. I just finished writing the pattern and it’s on sale. These make great hostess gifts and stocking stuffers.
My family has a traditional Christmas Eve meal that we all make every year. It was my dad’s favorite – even more special to us now that he’s not with us. One of the main parts of the meal is Cheese Potatoes. There are a million recipes out there for this… this one is my mom’s take on it. It will be done in an hour if you put it in the oven right after you mix it all up. If it’s been in the refrigerator, let it sit out for a good while. If it’s ice-cold going into the oven, it will take longer. Click on the recipe below for a printable PDF.
