American Patchwork and Quilting magazine is responsible for almost 700,000 pillowcases made and donated by quilters everywhere!
Get ready to sew pillowcases all across the world – Mark your calendars!!
A handmade pillowcase seems like a simple thing, but it can ease the fears of a sick child in the hospital, provide comfort to a teen as they move to a new foster home or give hope to a family who recently lost everything in a tornado, flood or fire.
I’ve been busy making basic pillowcases. It was fun to dig through my stash and find just the right fabric. I found a kit with Riley Blake fabrics in it and I knew I wasn’t going to make the quilt anytime soon….so I pulled the kit apart and was able to put together 10 pillowcases!
